Thread: Smallest I've been in a long time!

  1. Smallest I've been in a long time!

I went shopping yesterday for the first time in a long time. I was getting a little sick of wearing pants that were hanging down to my knees. I have been putting off buying pants for a long time, but I thought that I better before they were laying around my ankles. To my surprise I fit into a size 14. I haven't been in that size since before I had my oldest daughter. People are really noticing. It was a little hard to tell how much I had lost when I was wearing my baggy pants, but now that I am wearing my size 14 pants that fit nicely (not even on the tight end) people are really noticing!

This has been such a good thing for me. I have been floating on cloud nine!

My husband has been so supportive of me through out this process. He is loving watching me shrink! My daughters also are very proud of me. They are forever telling me how good I look. My 13 year old is excited because now we can go shopping, and she loves giving advise on what she thinks I should be wearing. Not always very nice things, but it sure is fun!

I am so happy with my progress and how fast it is going! Can't wait till I reach my goal, I'm half way there!

Fitting so easily into smaller sizes is a fabulous feeling, isn't it? In a month they will probably be way too big on you too!!!

Congrats! Keep up the awesome work

The ONE BIG thing that we can all do for our selves during this journey is to buy ourselves jeans that FIT!!! It was my one big splurge during this journey. ALWAYS always had 1 pair of jeans that fit. Baggy reminds us that we are loosing weight but new jeans are even better. It keeps us in touch with what is really happening to our bodies.

I got really good at sniffing out the bargains. Old Navy has a section at the back where that older stock gets sold off. For 10$ you can find a pair that fit and also get back some self esteme. You can look good in your jeans even though the tops are getting big.

New woman great story. Size 14!!! that is totally the best story.
